I need to make a point here when we talk about abuse,
there are two types of domestic abuse, physical and mental and it has been shown they go hand in hand.
The scars of physical take time to heal on its own, but they heal- mental abuse does not heal on its own.
In this country we have focused on physical abuse, which is predominantly male perpetrators. We can not end the physical abuse without focusing on the mental abuse which proceeded it (predominently female)
The problem in doing that is called time lag-
the physical abuse may happen today, but the mental abuse may have happened 20 years ago- this leaves a ticking time bomb

No, this cannot establish peace but will only generate more confusion.
The best way is to psychologically train men [ who are in violence aganist women ] about the good things of having a respectful and lovely relationship.

No, No, No, It is the fancy of Indian law-making bodies to have such type of catwalk of language-dressed in the designer wear. The right minded and intelligent people do not accept such dresses in their daily wear but would like to enjoy by seeing those bare paraded animals who pawned their brains and live in utopia, treating gory skin as every thing. The present system still follows the British style which they acrobated to show the then 'British Indian public" i.e. they have many laws for 1 issue but with negligible implementation whereas there should be 1sentence of law with 100% implementation. Which they themselves also don't want because they make law for others and not for themselves. They really owe to pay royalty to Britishers for this. They are really highly intelligent people who are able to fool their own people in their own mothertongue and while possessing the same skin. This all is done to show public that they have done their duties religiously by enacting law for each problem but what can they do for non-implemenation which they say on paper that it is the job of executive. Whereas in realty they have usurped the POWERS OF ALL THREE Pillars-2 others being Executive and Judiciary and every one knows 9th schedule of Constitution is the stark example of this? Who they are to decide what judiciary and executive will not do? Where from do they derive such powers? No where- but only by usurping. I salute their courage and intelligence.

No, such acts can only bring fears in the minds of family members but not peace.
No law, no punishment can bring peace in society. What we need is the change in attitude, which I understand is difficult to change and in some cases next to impossible, because you can't change the basic nature or personality of a person.
A bad person is a bad person and a good person is a good person, in whatever conditions/atmosphere they are.
