lol ok guys, when i said think carefully i meant it... it doesnt matter what ages they are its the way you answer it that matters.
Of course most of you would say save the siblings it doesnt have to be siblings it could be a group of friends or co workers or something.
If you were in a burning building with _____ and a stranger who would you save first?
I will give my answer soon as the time is up.

the ones that I have the best chance of saving. I would not concentrate on one to the sacrifice of the others. The needs of the one can not out weigh the needs of the many.

If your question is 1 sibling and a stranger, that makes sense.
If its 3 siblings and 3 strangers, we only save one and it doesnt matters the other 5 people.

Wait... I can't save them all? And, are they my siblings? Because if they are I'd rather let them burn and save the strangers... and, if I was in a building with 3 siblings and 3 strangers, wouldn't the siblings be strangers to me... so there are only 3 people to save, I suppose I'd save them all... even if it kills me...

You don't actually say that there's only enough time to save 3 people so I would attempt to save everyone but would probably help my siblings first.

Well assuming I wasn't overcome by smoke and was able to help people out of the burning building I would save whoever I could get my hands on first, I really don't think in that situation you would have the time to pick and choose.

Firstly, if my siblings were there then they would be strangers anyway (we're not a close family) and secondly, to be totally honest it would be me that I save. I don't think it would cross my mind to try and help someone out. That would be for my children. I would help them without a second thought but no one else. You have to think of number one at times like that.

I'd risk my life to save my siblings & they would come first before any strangers but if I had the chance to save everybody then obviously I would.

My reaction, of course is to say siblings, but the way this question was worded "think carefully about this question" makes me think there is a twist....are you gonna tell us the answer?

I would try and make sure that everyone was as far away from the fire as possible and make sure that any gaps were covered to prevent smoke inhalation. We should then keep as close to the floor as possible and if trapped, wait for the firemen to rescue us. This is because they know what they are doing and I don't, and also you didnt give the ages of the other people.
