I need to know where i can find all the right mkv codecs. I can play some mkv files, but they have no sound i am pretty sure i still need some codecs.

You can get it from http://packs.matroska.org/. They have a player too.

Also from this place http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Lazy_Man_MKV.htm or http://www.matroska.org/downloads/windows.html
