of course you can be both, look at Rocky Balboa, he had awesome fighting skills yet he was a fabulous lover to his wife.

A fight can be a lover if he's content w/ what he's got & has no reason to get roused.
Just like a lover can be a fighter if he is roused by something he feels he has to fight for.
