1975 Ford Gran Torino.

It was actually a 1975 Ford Grand Torino. The car was nothing special and did not sell well at all for Ford Motor Company.

The movie/series actually greatly increased it's sales, cos there was nothing much different that Ford did to the car...paintjob and maybe some heavy duty gear and that's it...when the show started they sold like hotcakes....
