Without a doubt...last year's National Championship Game...University of Texas - USC!!

The old 5 year amnesia seems to be in place. I don't think the greatest game has been played in most of our memories, in other words in the last 5 years. Alot want to say oh it was #1 vs #2 or some type of thing but I don't think that has to be the case. Me I'd like to say there was a great Pitt vs WVU game that was the greatest game ever but I doubt it. Yeah I'm a Pitt fan and the Backyard Brawl is our big rivalary game. Clearly a bunch of Ohio St or Michigan fans who just want to say oh we will have the best ever. Well if hasn't been played how do you know it will be the best? Heck even the Miami vs Ohio St game has an arguement to it, espically compared to a game that hasn't happened. Although the best was proably between I think Harvard and Yale or something like that which was the first one. Only the best because it started American Football.

As voted on by journalists it's the 1966 Notre Dame-Michigan State game. It ended in a 10-10 tie.

Hasn't been played yet... Watch the best college football game in history on November 18, 2006, when The Ohio State Buckeyes defeat meechigan woolveweenies in Ohio Stadium.

I have always liked the 1999 National Championship Game between Florida State and Virginia Tech. It featured two of the most explosive players in college football history, Michael Vick and Peter Warrick. Its not the greatest game of all time but its one of my favorite.
The 2003 National Title Game between Miami and Ohio State pitted the number one offense in the country (Miami) versus the number one defense (Ohio State). Its true what they say, defense does win championships.

yo the best game of all time will this year on 11/18/06 when the Michigan Wolverines beat the living crap out the Ohio State Buckeyes!! You know why because that is the biggest rivarly in college football man and Go Michigan!!!

I say the LSU/Kentucky game a few years back when LSU won with no time left on the clock. The wildcats were already celebrating their victory.
