it cant be a driver fault because it would at least detect the hardware + i have the driver on floppy but it simply shows no hardware to add to system

2. Bad board
3. Installed incorrectly
4. Device is incompatible in some way
If it isn't recognizing it, those are your choices for what the problem is.

hi there, have you loaded the cd that the network card came with. You also need a wireless outlet so your network card can connect to.

Check the compatibility of the card to your mother board. If valid.
See to it, it is properly attach. If valid
Install it. Using your driver.

If Not: Check your vendor.
