If a doctor could accurately tell you when your baby is due then why would a women go over her due date? If they could tell you the day you got pregnant then they would be able to tell you the exact day you were due and you would have your baby on that day. Ultra sounds are not 100% and that is why they give you an estimated time of conception. I was 2 weeks late with my 1st and with my second I was a few days before my due date, so not they can not tell you the exact day you got pregnant. They can only go by the date you tell them you had your last period until you are far enough along to have an ultrasound. Then they would have a better idea to when your baby should be due. You can have your baby give or take 2 weeks from your due date.

I have several friends that are OB's they all say that the closest they can get is usually within what week you got pregnant, never the day.

if you dont know when the last day of your period was.they can take a guess and come pretty close.
