OOh!!! There are so many...I guess that's why they are called Classics...

My favourites:

Adventures Of Tom Sawyer
Adventures Of Huckle Berry Finn.
Journey to the centre of the earth
Black Beauty
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Pickwick Paper's
David Copperfield
The Lord Of the Rings
Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
and
Kim by Rudyard Kipling

These are a few of the great books that I've grown up with...There are a lot more but I can remember only a few....

Cheers

The DaVinci Code is the best book I've ever read
I've read lots even ppl recommendations
Even though this book can't be a classic yet, it will be
I don't fully stand by all contents but it is truly one of the best reads I've ever read
The book is large.
I remember finishing it on a Sun. That night Family Dad's Stewey was reading the book day and night because it was so good. When he finished his face fell in his breakfast bowl
That episode was my epiphany of this successful read,,,enjoy

To Kill a Mocking Bird is a classic...but I prefer:

Donne, Shakespeare, Herbert...to name a few. Most early modern stuff.

Newer? Hmmmm...Just about anything by Edgar Allen Poe is fantastic
