I follow the instructions but they always come loose either overnight or pretty soon, I don't leave them very long in length and I try not to get them wet much. Is there a particularly good glue I can buy ? I just use the stuff in the packs which is a tiny amount anyway !

Just to add ! I paid £30 for nail extensions (acrylic) for my wedding day, they didn't even make it through the service ! I'm pretty good at manicuring and stuff as i have a qualification in manicure. I'm in the UK.

I find it is always better to use more glue than the instructions say. Good glues i use are Creative gel bond (comes in pink or clear) or NSI polybond.
If you are having trouble with acrylic nails too, i would suggest trying other types of extensions (gel, fibreglass etc) or if that all fails, how about growing yours and having a silk wrap to give them strength?

go to 4beautyhelp@danaclassics.com Here is the U.S.A. they have these kits by COSMAR it is called quick nails. JAnd they work great. i also had a problem with nails staying on. This kit has a buffer, glue, tips, and gel kit which harden just like sculptered nails. Maybe you can get some of that, good luck

1) Fake nails are almost always tacky looking unless done right.
2) Do not buy do-it-yourself nails. Go to a salon.
Sweetie, that stuff is killing your nails and one day, you'll seriously regret it. If you must absolutely, buy the same stuff salons use. Other than that, it's glorifies arts-n-crafts paste.

the place i get mine done actually roughs up my nails first before putting the glue on - so that the glue realllly grips - mine last for weeks and its really hard to get them off!

Let a professional do it. That way they stay on for weeks with just a little care required. You just have to know, after removing them, your natural nails will be ruined.
