If it is a newer model transit the immobiliser may be in the ecu which is matched with the red key in which case its new everything.

The only thing you can do is go talk to the retailer where you bought it. It wont be cheap to get a replacement and be careful next time not to be so careless.

trace the wire its normally attached to the fuel pump wire leading from the ignition. i did it on my xr2 no sweat
