I recently found out that one of the room in my house have access to wifi. I've been using it since. Is that illegal? Plus, ONLY that particular room have access to wifi. No/weak wifi outside the room. Why? Is this common? Should i be weary about hidden cameras? The wifi's ip is AP00300A40CF6A. Anyone experience this before?

It is most likely a wireless router a neighbor has set up. In some states it is illgal to use it as what you do can restrict the bandwidth available to them. It is sort of a DOS or theft of services situation.

It's your neighbor. Infact in some states this is considered trespassing. It's illegal, but most people don't care or don't know you're "borrowing " their connection. Just don't do something illegal like download illegal content. If they trace it back to the source they are going to know you were piggybacking on their wireless and that might get you in trouble.

TO THE REST OF YOU. SECURE YOUR DAMN WIRELESS ROUTERS.

In most states, it is becoming illegal. I don't think your neighbors would mind. Just don't sit outside of their house with a laptop.
