It may have been implantation bleeding as it shows up with the cervical mucous as brownish and could explain the thicker than blood description. If it is very bloody and clotted, it is not implantation bleeding. If you haven't started your period in five days, buy a pregnancy test.

I thought the same thing as well but it had turned out that I was pregnant. So if you typically have a steady period and you don't get it on time then you should test just to be on the safe side doesn't hurt.

Take a pregnancy test to see if you are pregnant. When i miscarried i bled red to brown blood. You could be miscarrying without even knowing about it. I miscarried at 5 weeks and did not even know i was pregnant.

take a test ASAP
