AOL has made my computer crash but I like their features.Which version is safe with Windows XP.I connect through my cable company to the internet.Or should I just stay away from AOL?

Since you have a cable connection what do you need AOL for? Why pay the extra money to AOL? AOL is the worst ISP of all! get rid of it. As for crashing your computer as you say, I don't thing AOL has anything to do with it. Chances are that you have tones of Internet temporary file, cookies and history files that cause the problem, get rid of them. When you are finished with that, do a check disk and a defrag and restart your computer; then see if the problem is gone.
