30km/hr * 1/3 hr = 10 km
(Note 20 min = 1/3 hr)
10km / 25 km/hr = 0.4 hr = 24 min

30km/hr x 20/60 hr = 10 km. So, a car going 25 km/hr should get there in 10/25 hr, or 24 min

In order to solve this problem, you first have to calculate how far the destination was.

so, it travels at 30km/hr for 20mins.
we know that 20mins is one-third of an hour.

so, 30km/hr x 1/3 = 10km

now you have to calculate how long it takes to travel 10km at a speed of 25km/hr.

25km/hr = 25km in one hour = 25km in 60mins
now first find how long it takes to travel 1km, then multiply by 10.

to travel 1km, divide both sides by 25: hence, 1km = 60/25 = 2.4mins
now multiply by 10

10km = 24mins

Speed = 30km/h = 30*(5/18) m/s = 25/3 m/s
time = 20 min = 1200 s
Distance = (1200)/25/3
= 48*3
= 144 metres
If S = 25,
25 = 144/t
25t = 144
t = 144/25
t = 5.76 s

distance travelled d is constant
so d = v1 * t1 = 30 * 20/60 = 10 km

u say v2 = 25 km/mn (r u sure not km/hr????)
and d = v2*t2 => t2 = 10/25 = 0.4 mn = 24 seconds

Oh no, not math!!!!There should be a formula in your book for this, something like: rate/speed + a = type of thing.

guys its km/min not km/hr please look carefully. so the answer should be 60seconds / 5 x 2 = 24 seconds.
