Okay, so I wanna get lots and LOTS of fish.
But I heard some fish cant get along with other types of fish.
So I need your help to tell me what types of fish wouldn't mind having another type of fish living with them? I don't want my fish eating eachother!!

Most pet stores have the fish listed as aggressive or community. If you get allot of community fish they should all get along fine. I would be sure to get an allege eater or snails to help keep your tank clean but remember they are herbivores so only get as many as your tanks regular allege growth can supply. Watch out for fish that reproduce too often, such as black mollies. If you are planning to get allot of fish make sure the size of your tanks can support their community. More fish make bigger messes, which leads to more frequent water changes. When you buy the fish ask the sales person how big each type of fish will be at adulthood. Some fish only grow as large as the environment will allow, and then they either stop growing or die. Try to have all the fish eat the same kind of food. And make sure that you put a water purifier in to the new tank before the fish move in and after each partial or full water change. Some chemicals in everyday drinking water can kill fish. With all this said good luck and enjoy your new pets!

hey there!! :-)
Have you decided what sort of fish you want?? You can get exotic fish or tropical fish and so on and so forth...
the easiest combination would probably be some hardy gold fish with some angel fish, a few guppies or small butterfly fish (just because they look SO pretty!!) and i would suggest a crocodile fish which would not just look great but also help in keeping yr tank clean!! some fish like the warrior fish should never be kept in pairs etc... While some fish like going around in schools...
Most fish get along with each other - however it's best to go talk to the pet shop guys and see what they suggest !!
Also would suggest that u visit the websites below for more info!!

good luck and have lotsa fun!!!

Take a trip to your local "Fish" store. The salespeople there will have all the knowledge you need, and if they don't they will have literature that will assist you.Enjoy your new hobby,it can be very soothing. as well as expensive.Make sure you have a budget in mind when you start, and stick to it.Once you start to get into some of the more exotic species, the cost and upkeep can become burdensome.

Get a fighting fish.

Put about 5 of them together in a small bowl and see what happens!
