We should always ask ourselves this question.

Marriage is not still, we need to give to it as much as we can.

Make him feel like # 1 in your life. Know what he likes and dislikes. Make him want to look forward to coming home each day. Marriage is a gift from God to honor and cherish. Even on days you may not necc feel like you love him ACT like it. Because our actions eventually change our thinking sometimes! And most of all...pray for him, your marriage, and creative ways to relate to him-daily.

in a relationship...it takes two to tango and this really apply to marriage...there should always be a two way communication...when husband talks...wife should listen and when wife talks the husband should also listen...respect for each other is also a must and so does trust...be each other's best friend and sex should not also be taken for granted coz it is a part of marriage and it can make a marriage work. doing things together like household chores or a family outing or watching a movie can secure the bonds of marriage...lastly pray for His guidance and blessings to keep the marriage lasting...these may sound simple but these actually works.

To me marriage is for lifetime. Just be wary of the middle age crisis. During these times, husband begins to philander. Wife begins to worry of the coming menopausal stage. Both fight each other. At times argue on some petty issue. When they stick it out together, they'll find later that they need each other's arm and grow old together. That's life. But if you dont believe in marriage, chances are you get old alone.

Marriage involves a lot of give and take and ups and downs. I think that it takes BOTH to make a marriage better. Often times if one person is the initiator of trying to make things better the partner can become accustomed to this and take things for granted.
There has to be love, commitment, commonalities, understanding, and good sex from both partners in order to keep a marriage alive. : )

marriage is something you work on together as long as you live. it is a commitment so there is no room for complacency. you can make it better by making sure you both have fun together. it also helps if you have open communication. a lot of times,we find ourselves frustrated or problematic with our partners and we nag them. it would help though if we also learn to verbalize appreciation because it does make our partners feel good not only about themselves, but also about the relationship.
