My husband always treats me like I am a child and always yells at me like I do not matter. It hurts so much. I do not treat him like this. What should I do? Sometimes it makes me feel worthless and I don't feel like living.

You need to get out now. If he really loved and respected you, he wouldn't treat you like this. It's called mental abuse, and it will bring down your self esteem faster than anything. I've been through two relationships like this and I'm finally married to the most wonderful man in the world. It took me 6 yrs. to finally build my self esteem up to the point that I actually like everything about myself. It affected our relationship for the first few years we were married, but my husband was very loving and patient and I'm great now. Please don't let anyone treat you with anything other than kindness and love. You deserve so much more from a partner.

he seems very controlling. was he like this before ya'll got married? If not, then he could be stressed, or is going through something. maybe his father treated his mother this way and he thinks that he should treat you this way b/c that's what he was exposed to. bottom line, you need to tell him how you feel and how its affecting you. no one should feel worthless for we are all special and full of life. if he does not change then I suggest you try therapy. there's something causing him to act this way and someone not in the picture can help you figure it out. Good luck!!!!!!!!

I don't know why some men do this to their wives. I think that they like to feel superior or something. It must make them feel like a man. Don't let him know that it gets to you, then he might stop. Don't let his stupid remarks get you down. You are better than he is. Leave him if he keeps doing this, because weather or not you believe this what he is doing is emotional abuse. No one deserves this.

Believe it or not many good men are available, you just have to give yourself the opportunity to find one. Leave this jerk and find a man that appreciates you.

Talk to him....mental abuse is just as serious as physical....they can both scar you very deeply....tell him how you feel, if he does not change then its time to move on....he had his chance and blew it....
