Right now uk is getting pretty crowded, so my guess is us is ok, though both are expensive. people in uk are quite snobbish, so u wont be able to connect to somebody as a friend in the uk, unless, u know somebody from before.

U.K is the best for higher education. The educational institutions are well organized and their extra curricula activities are also a plus point .

UK is crowded and the social climate is poor. US has good school . Canada will be better! try SAIT polytechnic. they have more than 60 programs available, scholarship available and lots of transfer option after the college diploma.

If by higher studies you mean high school (Lol) Then the US.
If you mean University.. it depends on how well you know what you want to study.
If you know absolutely what you want to spend the rest of your life doing.. then I'd say thet UK.
Otherwise.. US =]
