It's a mercedes 230. The door is damaged and needs readjustment (somebody opened the back door while car was backing up and it hit a column) I got an estimate for almost $ 2,500 which is basically how much a new door would cost and it would take two weeks to do it. I don't mind going anywhere in OC to find a good mechanic who is not outrageously expensive. Also, I need a good rental place to get another car while mine is getting fixed. Thanks to everybody who answers.

if all you need is to adjust the door, you can do it yourself using a set of socket wrenches and a small jack. if the hinges need replace, you can also do it simply as already stated. however, if the frame is bent at the bolts, you will need a shop to fix it for you.as for a rental vehicle, call the national or enterprise rentals and check prices. many have specia;l longer period rentals that are cheaper to rent for a week, than for a daily rate for the same length of time.
