I've met many, I'm related to two, they're no better than us. It's just fun to joke and talk about them because they're well known. Just like well known people around your neighborhood, job, work, church... you talk about those people right? How are celebrities any different? They're human aren't they?

I think it is cuz a lot of people actually believe what the media are saying about any celebrity. (the media can make or break you)
I have never met a celebrity, but if I would one day, and got a chance to talk to him/her, I wouldn't be nervous at all, cuz IMHO you're right : they're just people like you and me, with many of the same worries, good things and bad things we humans have.

I have met a few and they are people just like us.
I have Kevin Pollack, Joe Diffy, Mark Chestnutt, All the chicks in Cowboy Crush, all of the Blues Traveler, and Charlie Pride comes to the Casino on a regular bases.

Well considering you chose to name yourself "Friend of Tesla" what does that say about you? Aside from that, I agree. I could never understand these people who collapse, faint, and cry over seeing a celebrity. I never would. I can't think of a single celebrity that would cause me to go into convulsions. They are people like you and I.

Last I heard, men pee standing up, women sitting down. Unless that somehow changed and someone forgot to tell me, everyone is the same.
Celebrities just mean that they use Charmin and the rest of us use Northern toilet paper. Wipes the same as far as I am concerned.
I am not impressed either.

Some may look better than us but inside it is all the same. A false impression is being portray mainly by media hype.

I don't really get it either. I think it is mostly adolescents who have the celebrity worship. Beats the heck outta me. Anyway, the difference is, you admire Einstein for what he did, and who he was, not for how famous he became.

we think that celebrities are better than us because we think they are more sucessful than us in more ways than on, celebrities used to live normal lives too,if they have their free time, they just do what they used to do before becoming famous, they are just like us, except they are a bunch richer, they technically just live the same lifestyle as us.

NOTHING! I do nothing different around celebrities and VIPs. They NEED me, 'cause I'm the pilot and they can't fly - so they try to flatter me with freebies and invitations, but the only thing I except is their MONEY!

I don't think they are better than us. They just have lots of money and are in the news alot. I think they have more problems than most of us.
