how can i get my xbox live to work?

Everytime i try to get online the ip address resolves itself but the DNS Server won't connect how do i get it to work? i have tried just about everything i can think of. help me!!!

= First thing that I can think of is whether you are connected via wireless or cable. If wireless go to cable. If DSL or dial up switch to cable. Don't have much else I can do for you unless I know.

Is your password correct for your hookup, check your account info in tools.
