ok so i look ugly on webcam but look better in the mirror why?

hahah and if mirrors arent how i others see me then why is it that when i look at my mom through the mirror and without the mirror she looks exactly the same NO difference! same with my dog and so many other people

cameras always add pounds, change our complexions to either more pale or off color - they just really don't see things the way they are.. It is true. I look totally different in person than the way I look on a video camera or camera - maybe I am just not the most photogenic person ever..
It might help to wear extra makeup - that is what people do on tv and stuff..

First, I'm sure you don't look ugly on the webcam, but the reason you might not look as good could be that you are sitting too close to the webcam and it is disorting your facial features, like a goldfish bowl effect. Try sitting back from the webcam and see if you look better. HTH : )

I cannot stand how I look on video or anything like that. I look huge ,but when I look in the mirror I do not look big at all. I wear a size eight jeans. I can't stand how my face looks on camera either. Ewe shudder. Ha ha ha

I think it's the way the lens is positioned usually, always seems to be a slight fish eye thing going on, dpes you computer have effect, I find they make you look better.

You're just not used to seeing yourself on the web cam. You see, in the mirror, you are looking at a reverse image of yourself, where right is right and left is left. That is not how everyone else sees you. They see your right on the left and your left on the right.

Put on makeup. Have you EVER seen anyone look good in webcam pics without a crapload of makeup on?
