Engineering's a deeper expertise. Computer engineers are savvy be it on the software or hardware field. CS people however have the tendency to focus more on the software side alone

IMHO Comp Engineer. I have known a few CS folks that couldn't even put a floppy in a drive....yet they have the degree. That is speaking of practical knowledge of course.

see definition of science and engineering, scientist invent a thing and engineer make its usability. If scientist invent 1 or 2 thing and his engineer deal with other 100s of items, he know more and if scientist invent 100s of item and his engineer handles only one or two thing he know less
