Because a bunch of neurons is what we are. It's not a good idea to fixate on that fact, because the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Love, just like any other emotion man feels, is a mechanism your brain employs. The reason to pursue it is the same reason to pursue happiness or excitement etc.

what are you trying to conclude huh?
The feeling of being loved or to love happens basically due to the hormone DOPAMINE.. but that doesn't mean that love is just anyother automatic activity such as breathing.. stimuli etc..
Don't you feel it in you?...
