What is your definition of a pervert? I have seen it used so often here and I am not sure what you all actually mean. Is it someone who is old and pretends they are young?

no its anyone interested in sexual things that are out of the so called normal range, old guys wanting to see young girls naked, gays and lesbians to some people , young guys wanting to have sex with women their mothers age, any guy who only wants sex and couldnt care less about you as a human being. pretending you are young is just foolish, perversion is twisting the natural.

After reading all the answers to your question, I can only say that it is someone who does not follow the routine and wants to be different from others, who actually has the right top condemn a person and call him / her a pervert without first looking at his / her own acts.
Perverts are generally not people who have eyes on kids, or do something you or I do not like, even people who call themselves swingers or Bi Sexuals can be called perverts if the WORD fitted in the mind of the person calling the other a pervert.

My definition of a pervert is someone that finds sexual pleasure from things that are not "mainstream". Once something is accepted in society at large it's no longer a perversion.
I don't see anything about pedophilia in your question, I guess the ones that see it is a bunch of perverts simply for seeing things that are not there... or I'm the perverted one since I do see a question about age play. Age play is not mainstream so people practicing it is generally looked at as perverts.
(Age play is when you pretend to be younger than you are, NOT when you look for people that are too young to have sex.)

Ok, the Oxford English Dictionary states that the meaning of pervert is:
alter from it's original meaning or state to a corruption of what was first intended.
lead away from what is right, natural and acceptable.
a person with abnormal or unacceptable sexual behaviour.
Like most words used today all over the world, words are used out of their true context, hence a lot of us get confused because the TRUE meaning is not stated.

It is quite simply anyone who takes a standard use for something, that is acceptable by society and changes it so that society sees the use as a perversion, for instance a vacuum cleaner when used to clean carpets is acceptable, however if a man uses it to give himself a bj, that is a perversion of its intended use. The word pervert is not just sexual, it can be used against any use of something that is against the society norm.

No you aren't stupid....A pervert to me is someone who always associates sex with everything. Its that guy in the office who always looks at everyone's butt when they walk passed and makes sexual gestures when ever they get a chance. Gross.
