hey this is personal so no jokes. and no guys should answer unless you are a doctor.
i'm 17 and i havent had my peirod in about 4 months. I've never had sex. it's never been a normal flow like other girls, some times it would skip a month. but this is the longest it has been and i don't know whats wrong. i feel fine, life is cool. i know i should go to the doctor but i'm afraid of going to the womens doctor and have some one look down there.
but i'm kind of happy because when i do have it i wish i was dead. i have the worst cramps. i mean really bad, they can bring me to my knees and make me cry they were so bad i had to stay home a coulpe of times. Now, or b4 about 4 months a go, i've learnd that as soon as things start happening i need to load up on the pain pills to live.

You NEED to see a doctor.
You could have an ovarian cyst or some other problem. It could lead to infertility.
The doctor is really not so bad, it's only scary the firsty time because you don't know what to expect. Go with your mom or someone else who will make you feel comfartable and has been through this before. If the cramps are really that bad the doc can prescribe something or put you on the pill. The pill will regulate your period and reduce the pain, if you take it for a while even after you stop you period will be more regular and not hurt as much as it did before. I know about painful periods, Trust me, the pill was the only thing that helped.

I had this that when i was your age and my daughter has been going through it too. It sounds like you havent started a regular cycle, your body is still ajusting to the changes. if you are athletic, that will also throw your periods out of wack. its a hormonal thing. it can also have to do with stress and diet. your body will shut your menstral cycle off if you do not have enough aIron in your blood. now you can take a suppliment, or you can go eat a burger. trust me, the burger tastes better.
If you are 17 then you are a year behind going to the lady doctor. dont worry, no mater how bad you think yours looks, she or he has seen much worse. you havent had sex, the worst thing youw orry about is having a period on them, or not beeing shved up enough, they have to look at people with STDs everyday, the really dont care about a stray hair.
i wouldnt worry about the missed period, however i would make an appointment with the lady doctor to get an overall checkup to make sure everything is in order, oh yeah she will give you some really nice pills for your cramps too!

There could be MANY reasons for you not getting your period. You really need to get to a doctor to have it checked out to make sure that there is nothing going on. I know it sucks to have a pelvic exam and you'll be uncomfortable, but a few minutes being uncomfortable and finding out what (if anything) is making you worry about missing your periods would be worth it. Although you've never had sex, your doctor may recommend that you go on birth control to regulate your period. If you do go on it, it should help a lot with the cramping, I know it has helped me out A LOT.
Talk to your mom or another woman that you're comfortable with about this and get an appointment, you're at an age where you need to have your first check up. If you can get online and ask strangers about it, you can totally go see a doctor.

Well, permit me placed it this manner... I had a sugar momma for 2 years. I broke it off. Why? It bugged me. I paintings tough for a residing, however nonetheless arise quick... so why now not simply permit it experience? I did not find it irresistible. I adore ladies, and deep down within, I desire to deal with them. Not the wrong way round. It turns out to me that taking a lady out and treating her proper faucets into the center of what it's to be a person. You say 'repeatedly' so it is probably not a colossal deal... this present day, ladies must be our equals, and ready to kick us a couple of dollars from time to time... Me, I could not manage it tho whilst it used to be at all times... >>EDIT>> Ricardo - yeah, he sounds younger, however having a sugar momma is most of the time the provenance of the over forty set... Me, Im forty three...

but if your period hurts that bad when you do get it 'id see a doctor cause there is this thing that some women get where part of the uterus tears away i don't know what it is called and don't worry about them having a look ....most likely they will give u a ultrasound to check it out good luck

My periods were very irregular too until I finally went on birth control pills. It's very possible that your body just hasn't figured out it's cycle yet, but I can't stress enough how important it is to have annual pap tests. Yes, it's uncomfortable (especially at your age) but it's one of those things that we as women have to learn to deal with. Now, with that said.........
My advice to you would be call your family doctors office and see what they have to say.
