On the web when you search for a free music download site it brings up all these other sites that you have to sign up for and pay for. I just wanted to find more songs for my computer but am not willing to pay for it.

The only free sites I have found are sites that have well known songs, but not by the original artist ... and they put you through far too many hoops to sign up, all to find out it isn't the original music. The best site I have found doesn't require you to download any of their funky software, you simply download the mp3 files directly to your hard drive, for 15 cents per song. If you download an entire album, you get a 10% discount off the 15 cents per song. It's painless and the least expensive I've found.

(Limeware's software is invasive and problematic.)
