One time at a job I had, I had a foot race to secure time off for Christmas. An announcement was made that one spot was open, first come first serve. The race was on. Not only was I fast but I knew a shortcut to the spot I needed to get to. It involved a dip to the left and a dip to the right as I swiftly weaved through a real tight place. On one of my dips, I let out this sonorous toot right in front of a secretary. She looked up. I didn't miss a beat. I smiled and said, "Rocket power", which cracked her up. And off I went. Got that Christmas week off too.
Actually everyone toots, obviously, but there are some clever ways to hide that fact, if you feel the urge. Nothing you can do about those surprises, though. Running, believe it or not cleans out the pipes. Anyway the way people hide their toots is to create noise or be in noise that hides "other" noises. Flushing toilets, cabinet doors and drawers loudly closed, radio loud suddenly --oops. Relieving yourself next to a loud machine. With a little bit of refection, you can be real inventive here. Chuckle.
