An older man may face challenges with balance and walking on a sea going vessel. Ships are at the mercy of the weather and the ocean so walking, balance, and keeping your stomach from getting upset all work together. This could affect his nerves and then his regularity as well. Also if the diet varies much from what he is used to it may upset his stomach, especially if he is a "nervous" person.
If the individual is easily disoriented then a sea voyage would not be recommended since the boat would not be anything like the community or home where he lives and that could prove stressful and difficult for him. Sincerely, H
