Heart rate normally increases after eating as the body works during digestion.

I don't know. Maybe it could be a blood-sugar thing...does your heart just beat fast or does it palpatate? Like beat fast and irregular like? If I have caffeine and am really tired mine will do that...caffeine is so bad for you and it's in pop and tea as well as coffee.

The other thing too is maybe you eat too fast. If you do, you often forget to breathe while you wallop the food down and then you are kind of hyperventillating afterwards. That's about all I can think of! :~)

If it's really bad, ask your doctor.
