I don't want to hear an awnswer like you can only survive three days without water, or it replenishes your body, or it's good for your skin, I only want to know if it makes your musceles bigger.

Drinking a reasonable amount of water to excess amounts of water will no impact on muscle growth.

Severe dehydration is a different story...and could have a negative impact.

But to answer your question, NO...drinking water does not make your muscles bigger.

Muscles are basically just protein and water. If you're properly hydrated some of the water will be in your muscles, yes. Much more water will be in your lymphatic and excretory system, though, and can actually reduce muscle visibility. Pro body builders often dehydrate themselves before a big competition to increase the visibility of their muscles.

If you want more noticeable muscles, losing fat is key. Eating a high protein, low fat, moderate carb diet combined with regular exercise will help you lose fat and increase muscle mass. Try to eat about 1 gram of protein per pound of lean muscle you have.

Creatine is a supplement that helps muscles retain water (some say it increases strength and endurance too, but hard evidence is hard to find) - so they appear bigger, rounder, and heavier.
