the only one I can answer is #4
It will play Blue-ray disks (DVD's will work on it too) and yes it will play PS1 and 2 games (Will not have the same graphics as PS3 games)

all i kno is that to play dvds on your ps3 you need to get special dvds specifically for the ps3. the ps3 can only play pa2 and ps3 games might i suggest an xbox 360 it's about $300 less and plays normal dvds. or the nintendo wii, less than either of them and almost just as good. pluss with the wii you can play game cube games, and online gaming is free. the wii also has news, the weather and you can download your favorite NES, SNES, or NEC games.
