Not at all realistic. H stands out in the open and guns down the bad guys. It never would happen in the real world. He'd be toast.
The explosions are all show for dramatic effect.
It's all style and no substance. All the hi-tech forensic stuff is not real world either. Police work is all about asking questions and catching dumb criminals in a lie.

Not very. For one thing they work too fast. DNA evidence does not get processed all that fast. Most labs that can do it are several months behind in their workload.
On the other hand, I saw a newspaper article that said police were complaining that some criminals appear to have picked up on how to destroy blood evidence from the show. So the science is solid, just compressed into an hour.

Many of the things they do, at the crime scene & in the lab, are very realistic, but no one group of people would be involved in that many scenarios. They have to do it that way though, to make it entertaining.

it is'nt . it is television not reality . It is supposed to be an escape for us . Not the real world . I think maybe you are taking things too seriously. Good luck and god bless.

I just saw that episode too. Alot of it is very dramatic for effect, but it kind of reels you in in suspence...but i dont think its 100% accurate at all.

As far as that goes, there are experts in the field they use, but not enough to be a primer for would-be robbers

I think its fairly accurate, but not 100%, just think of the info they'd be giving serial killers and snipers? I think its 50% accurate, but thats just me.

can you relate to any show on television? know any firefighters, cops, doctors, lawyers, inmates? have any of them told you"its kinda true, but not really"?sure they find hairs at crime scenes.that doesnt mean they can find a match.all tv shows "expand" the truth.
