What step should India take if Pakistan uses Nuclear weapon against India?

The best way to retaliate in case of a nuclear confrontation is to have a second strike capability. That is, to attack the aggressor with nuclear tipped ICBM's (like Prithvi and Agni missiles)placed strategically in different parts of the country. Second option is to use deep penetrating nuclear capable fighter planes (like Mirage-2000 and Sukhoi30's that India has in its inventory). Third and the most lethal option is to strike from nuclear submarines.

A Far-fetched idea, But truly a scary picture!!!!!!!
First of all the amount of Nuclear Weapons that Pakistan has when compared to India is very minimal.
So they would have to target the seats of power in India.
That too when most of the leaders are in the strike range.
That would lead to a chaos.
But India has a very strong and an healthy nuclear program, which has the capability to strike even under such chaotic situation. And since Pakistan is a close neighbour, Let the god have mercy on their souls. For anything close to a nuclear attack happens on India, Pakistan will be wiped out of the face of this earth. The only reason for the Indian Nuclear Program to be so strong is because of the integrity and stability of this Country, Unlike Pakistan,(no pun intended)

let me say one thing, india's Nuclear policy very clearly stated that India will not use Nuclear weapon first. That means, if pak use Nuclear weapon India will react. Then that is the end, the country of Pakistan will be wiped out from the world map.

Nuclear option will always be used as a deterrant and not actually be 'used' against another nuclear state.
Because it will not take long for India to retalliate in a similar fashion.
What nuclear weapon does is that it significantly neutralises the edge we have in conventional defence strength.So a nuclear strike will always be met with a nuclear strike. But it will not be used so easily and it will always remain a threat and that will be a deterrant.

Retaliate with nuke. Then invade, conquer, divide and rule. Nuking of another nation is, in my opinion, the worst crime a nation can commit and should be punished with the utmost severity to ensure that it won’t be repeated; negotiation is too slow and the United Nation has very limited power to punish those offending nations anyway. So I think the best answer is a retaliation of military force; this will get the message across and also hopefully remove the threat of subsequent bombing.
