Does it bother you when your girlfriend/wife brings up mistakes you've made in the past? I realize everyone makes mistakes, just asking a general question.

Okay, I'm not having this problem. I just wanted to ask the question because a LOT of women do this.

Depends on the situation that its brought up in. If its used in a fight, then yes its annoying, we have already been there, had the fight, and got the t-shirt. But if your about to do sumthing similar and she brings it up to remind you not to make the same mistakes again, then yea its fine. It all depends on how its brought up, why and when its brought up.

You say I realize everyone makes mistakes but you still ask the question, "does it bother you when someone brings up mistakes" Think about the question and you KNOW the answer.

My wife brings up my past mistakes but not in a nasty way, just to stop me going down that path again.

Of course it bothers us, just as it would most likely bother you if we brought up something you did a long time ago.
Really I think if you plan on keeping a relationship you need to get over the problems you had in the past because its just hurting both of you.

When you keep on doing it and you break the promise not to do it again, of course we're going to point out the pattern in the hope that you will change it. As everyone knows, men don't change, so we really ARE wasting our breath. Women, find men who respect you.

YES she never lets me forget every mistake i made "get over it " shes not perfect either ,i just dont keep reminding her because guys dont like sleeping alone...

It used to bother, but only did when she wanted a new argument, so we divorced.

it used to then i relized that maybe my wife is just bored as hell or she just wants to make sure im still listening to her when she talks but hey some people just cant move on
