For sure a woman can miss a period, and for several different reasons, including diet changes and stress. If it were a one time occurance, then I would imagine ovulation would be around the normal time.

I dont konw about the ovulation part, but I do know that, my periods were aleways irregular like that until I started birth control, then they were so normal it was awesome, no more guessing, and being owrried my period would start when i least expected it.
But if you are sexually active or have been, I ould suggest getting a pg test just in case

i skip more then one mont if i do not use birth control that only thing that makes me regualar is birth control. I dont know about ovulation. My suggest for the ovelation part is too maybe buy one of the ovulation test that they have out now.

you should get you preg tested
