Funny, this happened to me last night. I was just scrolling through the channels and it just froze on me. I tried beating the back of the remote and wouldn't work. Made me upset, because I was comfortable and I had to get up to change the batteries.

yeah, i always do that, i know it doesn't work, but i guess i'm just too lazy to go get the batteries from the smoke alarm to put in the remote. j/k-safety first folks.
