Fiction. The physique is in basic terms too moist to burn spontaneously. you like an accelerant of a few type to make it burn - maximum situations of spontaneous human combustion have been shown that some thing else has brought about the preliminary conflagration.

It appears as though some people's chemistry adds up to extremely high tempature when it is subject to some sort of change in balance or composition. Many cases show the extreme heat to be quite localized.Fire itself is nothing more than a chemical reaction.

So far as everything I've read about it, it is fictionalized. That is, there are people who appear to have spontaneously combusted, but there is always a logical explanation to why it *really* happened.

I've read it too. Something like Firestarter. But that person would like to have microwaves coming out of him. Then he/she/it makes the particles of anything move faster and catch fire.

It appears to be quite factual, though the jury is still out as to the exact cause.
