I think the word 'superstition' is thrown around too much.

Science: theory based on something observed and able to be replicated.
Superstition: taking care of things science has neither explanation of nor interest in.

Science and superstition hold our culture together dear......
Even if one of them is not there how would we support our past and cultures.....think about it....

Science = good, positive, advancing, improving, growing.

Superstition = bad, negative, taking us back, ignorance, prejudice, stupidity.
