Well its Mad World by Tears for Fears, but in the commercial you are speaking of its being redone by Gary Jules.

Its ridiculous that its being used in a video game commercial.

Gary Jules - Mad World. Covered for the movie Donnie Darko, which I highly recommend. It was originally done by Tears for Fears and was also covered by Evergreen Terrace who did a heavier version. It is just as good though.
