Consider carving this from styrofoam (sp). You could then add spray adhesive and then chicken feathers. You could carve a carrot for the swan's beak.

You could be riding the swan. Or you could be the swan.

For carving styrofoam try an electric carving knife.

the child should wear a white colour trapeze dress ( slacks + full sleeved top with high neck). Now for the feathers, take a Cardboard and cut in the shape of feathers. Make 2 sets for both sides. Now paste/stich same colour cloth / chart paper with fineese and then stich with the slack portion on the Left leg and right leg- it should float. for the face you have to prepare a mask with the SWAN Beak in orange colour using cloth or paper.
