You should take a class or lesson.
That way, you will find your full voice.
When you sing-along with the radio, you're not singing with your full voice. A music teacher could help you find it.

umm...keep singing? and sometimes it would help a little to close my eyes, that way i can really feel the emotion in the notes...singing does not seem that hard to me, its just acting except w/rhythm, im good at acting. it's just the
rhythm part that completely throws me off balance..idk what i could do really to help me get better at rhythm to be honest...maybe im beyond help, ill admit it im that bad.

oh and it has to be a song i love...of course. it would do you good to get lessons if you feel youre not good enough. like i said try and let the emotions of the song take you over, really concentrate on it..if it doesn't relate it might not work as well. if you have a good imagination and youre not rhythmilleterate (like me hee) than you should be a beautiful singer..

I love to sing. The best thing for me before a performance is hot tea with a lot of honey. Honey will coat your throat and keep you from going horse. There is also a product called "Throat Coat" you can purchase at your local drung store

-Have a lot of drink of pure water.
-Don't eat some "hot" food with chilli or something like that.
-Try to sing the song that you love so very much
-Sing in a small place first and then bigger and bigger each time after you feel you have to
