I don't hate the president. And I vote for a candidate because of what that individual stands for. I also don't vote against a president because of a governor, senator or congressman. So I guess I vote based on logic.

Both logic and emotion. I have strong feelings based on my logic, so that has to mean I use both. I use the information and issues to decide my votes, not just party lines. I usually vote toward one direction, but not every single time.

Voting based on Moral/ethical issues. I consider that logic even though others might call it emotion. It has nothing to do with my "feelings" but my belief in absolute truth.

I look at the questions and listen to the candidates , then decide .
Too far left or right and you can forget my vote .
