Where can I buy an extra-small black dress with a long skirt and long sleeves for under $100?

Question

I'm after a long skirt (calf length or more) with long sleeves (elbow length or more) in XS or XXS. (Women's sizes are screwed up so I can't tell you a precise dress-size -- I can be as small as a 00 or as big as a 6 depending on the designer.)

It needs to be under $100 US, and preferably under $40.

The Goodwill, and all second-hand stores, depend a lot on luck -- About half the time I go there they don't have anything that will fit.

J.C. Penny never seems to have anything longer than knee length.

My measurements are screwy because I have a 22 inch waist and 35 inch hips.

go look on www.walmart.com. type dresses in the search line on the page and the dress im referring to is the white stag one near the bottom of the page, for about 25 dollars.

Places like Ross, TJ Maxx, Nordstrom Rack etc. should have black dresses under $40--will need to spend time searching for your sizes though. If your size can vary so much I would not recommend buying online--you need to go try the dresses out.

Check out the clearance sales at Victoria's Secret or Fredrick's on the web. They have some great outfits for reasonable prices and can be delivered right to your door. Check the size chart and it will give you the measurments for each size and even the best way to figure out your size.

check websites for choir/orchestra uniforms. Choirs are always wearing long black dresses and in a variety of sizes.
