Once upon a time, the Republican Party had a good direction, a good vision for America.

They have betrayed their own vision and betrayed America by thinking that the end justifies the means.

Any party having full control of all three branches of government, or even just the Executive and Legislative branches is not good for the USA. That is why the Senate rules are as they are, and why our form of government is supposed to be debate and compromise. We need to get back to that.

Every political group has its pros and cons in different situation.

That is like asking, what is the BEST move in chess: it depends on the situation that one is in. There is no best policy/political group for all circumstances.
