I worked at a McDonald's for four years during high school... I have several theories on why... But this happens to me too now. They could be understaffed. I ran the whole process of a drive thru, from order taking, gathering money, and handing out food when others quit or did not show up on a 4th of July once. Most of the time, the employees aren't paid well enough to put up with some of the aggressive, drunk, or offensive customers that they serve regularly... The employee might not care or the management is not good... Try to find another fast food place that is known for better service. Most around my area are good except two of them.... And never leave the window without double checking that you have everything you want. They'll pay attention, because most fast food places keep track and try to have low cycle times in their drive thru's....

Yeah. It's happened 4 or 5 times. The last time I checked at McDonald's and then I came back through the drive through. Another time at Micky D's they gave me a quarter-pounder instead of a double quarter-pounder, so I called and I came by later to get a free one.

The funniest was when my friend went to Waffle House for a waffle and bacon. They forgot the bacon, and he called them. They said he could come by anytime and get his bacon. So petty! It was only like 2 strips!

Yeah i have too and it gets really annoying but people make mistakes and i know that i wouldn't want to work in fast food so theres really no point in being rude to them when it happens, like i said people make mistakes.

Yes, since in case and point, i don't like fast fod, it causes death to happen wya sooner then it should, and causes obecity, i would reccomend not eating it at all. Home-Made dinners are always better then a sweaty greasy ol' man in the back spitting on your burger and picking his *** and getting your fries. Jsut my thoughts.

At BK one time, four of us in the car ordered and they forgot to put the lids (top buns) on all of our sandwiches. They really hate it when you drive in reverse through the drive thru!

Yeah all the time. I once ordered 2 cheeseburgers at McDonald's and I got 2 cheese danishes. I didn't even know McDonald's had cheese danishes, and who the hell orders a cheese danish from McDonald's?

yeah it happened to me before. lots of people go back and complain, but it's fast food! not some upscale resturant. if it's a major mix up then i go back in and get them to give it to me. but if not, then i don't really care all too much
