My friends were talking about a younger man and older woman couple. They were laughing and said that he is the best thing that has ever happened to her. What do they mean by thing? Sex? Company?

If they knew her, they meant that she had not had such a wonderful man before. If they were observing as strangers, they were wishing they were so lucky.

I'm sure some people laugh and snicker and they don't even know just what the couple are really all about. It doesn't have to be sex nor does it have to be company. It could be that they are soulmates and they truly love each other. Maybe it is that they were both in need of a best friend and confidont and somebody they could trust or maybe they have the same spiritual beliefs and have the same emotional needs and the sense of security. Or maybe they do satisfy each others sexual needs..Or it could be all of the above. People should just mind ther business because they just don't really know what is inside this couples minds. My husband is 15yrs younger than me. And YES..he is the best thing that has ever happened to me. He is very lively and upbeat and makes me feel younger and like I have a reason to get up everyday and that we may be different in so many ways,yet he gives me everything I need to make me feel like a sensual,desireable,woman. We both work and we have goals and truly enjoys each others company. So they can laugh all they want,because I don't care what others think. This man is great and he is my husband and I make him happy as he makes me.Thank God I found him. And I too am the best thing that has ever happened to him as well!!!!

Well, I can only guess that is what they are meaning. However, if they really think about it. And older woman has probably had a great deal of sex and is very experienced. there fore she knows what she wants. So, I would feel the guy is really the lucky one he is gaining the experience of all of the knowledge. Lucky him. God bless

I think they're just saying she's lucky to have him....they may not know that SHE is the best thing that has ever happened to HIM!

Perhaps she accentuates the best of who he is. :-) "The best thing that ever happened to him" could mean she brings out the best in him; improves him...
