Denver is an awesome city, there are tons of jobs available and great schools. It is more culturally diverse than some might think and I've found, compared to the rest of the country, that the people here are generally really nice.

Asheville, NC is considered one of the most diverse cities in the south. It is located in the mountains of North Carolina where the climate is mild. I grew up there. . . it is not a large city by any means, but it has a relaxed, open minded atmosphere. The arts are very important there--there are lots of art shows, outdoor concerts, and poetry readings in the area. I'm not as sure about the job market, but the cost of living is very reasonable!

I live in Austin, TX and I know you're probably thinking TEXAS?! NO WAY!? But I'm an african american female married to a spanish man and we love it here. We moved here from dallas a few years ago and we love it. It is a melting pot! There are soo many people here of different races and origins. And the difference in Austin than in a lot of cities is people are used to "different" so the shock level is high. Which means walking down the street with your man wont cause snooty people to look.

Hope this helps!!!

in Arkansas, there are many different races/cultures. We have puerto ricans, hispanics, marshall lees (people from the marshall islands) hmongs, laotions. It is a very diverse culture. Jobs pay pretty well and cost of living is much cheaper than California. Schools are wonderful.

you are able to desire to have long gone in basic terms exterior of SF, it incredibly is a distinctive climate then the city itself. Berkeley interior the East Bay is culinary favourite there, on the Peninsula, Palo Alto/Menlo Park factors are acceptable for culinary hobbies. San Jose is a capital of Asian nutrition, extraordinarily yet no longer in basic terms Vietnamese. the finished Bay section is a dazzling melange of variety and local nutrition from international. you are able to no longer circulate incorrect on that score everywhere. It hasn't snowed interior the Bay section using fact the Ice Age, different than for some dustings on the splendid of the mountains each and according to annum (which isn't an city section in any respect). heavily, in case you went to SF and found it to be "no longer that distinctive", then you definitely the two did no longer incredibly get around, or you have a extraordinary experience of variety. SF and the finished Bay section is amazingly probably the main distinctive area interior the international. I even have on no account been to Miami, so i'm able to't say something approximately that.

im 23 and half puertorican and half black.
my family moved from NYC to atlanta, ga 2decades ago
for job oppurtunity and cost of living.
atlanta is very diverse-gays, jamacins, chinese etc. and atlanta has plenty to do musically, arts, museums, etc. the schools r safe. (but in any area there is crime of course no utopia.)

BUT i do not like the peeple here personally, redneck mentality and ****** who r flamboyant with the rims, the gold in mouth.
yuck. and they r building huge homes starting at 200,000 to 500,000 in the suburb areas outside of atlanta which is a steal for someone who does not no any better moving from the north. but in reality they r worth half the price. and the education is always better in the north for grade school, hands down. but our colleges/university r good. i have lots of freinds that r being laid off.

so in a nutshell ive hoped ive helped your decision to eliminate or to include atlanta in your decision good luck!

Don't move to Savannah.

I suggest you consider Portland, Maine.
