No, they don't have sex
What is happening is Halle assumes a sexual position and bounces up and down while making enthusiastic fake noises, much the same as real sex, but they are not actually physically joined.
Since t is not a porn movie so there are no explicit close ups to prove it either way.
In former times sex scenes were tamer and one method used was with both actors under the sheets a third sheet was between their bodies so no actual penetration could occur.
Even if no penetration is involved it must be quite sexual to be so physically close and making the motions

I know in Underworld 2, Kate Beckinsale and the guy she's supposed to be having sex with, are both strategically covered or concealed. Nothing was going to happen on the set between them because her husband in real life was the director. He played really cheesy love songs on the sound stage to break the tension.

some do,, most forein movies do to,,, but when in the U.S. they make them sign like a 50 page contract that states how long it will be ,,, were the camera possision will be,, what parts of her body be exposed,,, what parts of her body will be toutched,, and what is said during the sex scene.

Fake it/body suit...although my friend told me that in the Godfather they didn't fake the sex scenes to make it seem more real...I doubt that's true, but I don't know

at least that's what they supposed to do,
i guess that it always can happens,that their is more going on..,
but that's something only the crew there present really knows.
besides,it makes watching a movie even more exiting..

I think, except porno XXX movies, the actors only pretend to have sex.
